![]() ![]() (Capitan Garcia by Freebooter Miniatures) One thing I might do when I (hopefully) get to revisit the project next year is remake these rooms with that gap, and possibly with removeable walls by using magnets. One mistake I made with these is not leaving a gap between the floor tiles and the walls, so any figures with sticky out weapons, tails and whatever tend to make things difficult. I haven’t yet built the fifth Objective Room, the Chasm of Fire. Also, some pieces are beginning to show a bit of wear and tear on the outside edges): To start off with, here are the corridors (Barbarian shown for scale. ![]() Add on a few bits and pieces from kits and stuff, slap on some paint, and they were done. I found some embossed plasticard for the walls, and cut up the boxes my monsters came in to make the floor tiles. I made them out of foamboard - it’s cheap, quick and easy to work with, and surprisingly sturdy. I wanted to take this to the next level and bring them into 3d, recreating them as faithfully as possible. ![]() The original Warhammer Quest came with flat tiles of thick card for the board pieces, and the artwork on them was quite spectacular.
